Juanita Webb

     Juanita Montgomery Webb, 88, of Melba, passed away Monday Sept. 18, 2006 at Karcher Estates in Nampa. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Friday Sept. 22 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N. Midland Blvd. Nampa. Inurnment will follow in the Melba Cemetery.
     Juanita was born May 16, 1918 in Elsmore, Kansas, to John Calvin and Ada Ethel Montgomery. She was a devoted farm wife and mother. In the late 40's and early 50's she worked in Melba as a telephone operator and in Wharton's and IGA Food stores. She married Marion Ed Webb in Melba on November 18, 1949. They resided and farmed south of Melba. She was active in Walters Butte Grange and a life long member of the First Baptist Church. Her hobbies include knitting, camping, hiking, traveling and square dancing.
     Survivors include her son, J. Ronald Hays; grandsons: Brett Hays and Jeff (Nasha) Heyman and great grandson Dylan all of Santa Barbara, CA; sisters-in-law: Gladys Montgomery of Sacramento, CA, Irene Webb Simpson of Melba, ID, and Yvonne Montgomery of Salem, OR. Nieces: Carole (Harvey) Kildow, Rae (Jim) Dragoo, Betty (Wayne) Brown, Charlene (Tim) Nettleton, Jan (Ray) Mack, Janice (Kevin) Cotton, Georgene (Don) Yager and Jane (Don) Nikelson; Nephews: Phil (Nellie) Gardner, Tom Montgomery, John Montgomery, John (Missy) Webb, Rick (Bev) Webb, Verl (June) Webb and many other close family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Webb, her parents, brothers: Bert, Jim and Richard and nephew Paul Montgomery.
     The family suggests that those wishing may send memorial donations to the Melba Cemetery Board.
