Daniel L. Harman

    Daniel Lyle Harman, 63, of Nampa, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, Nov. 7, 2005 from natural causes. A Funeral Service to celebrate his life was held Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005 at the Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel, Nampa. Burial followed at the Melba Cemetery.
     Daniel was born on September 27, 1942 in Nampa, the son of Lyle Davis and Mary Louise Harman. Daniel was educated in the Kuna School system and graduated from Kuna High School. His secondary education was at the University of Idaho. He married Bonnie Irene Spaulding on September 28, 1963 in Nampa where they made their home. They had three sons, Steven Lyle, Scott Daniel and Douglas Edward. Daniel worked as a diesel mechanic for Chandler Supply So., Can For, TCT and Idaho Peterbilt, from where he retired.
     He was a charter member of the Nampa First Congregational, United Church of Christ and was a very active member of the church having served in various capacities.
     Daniel is survived by his three sons, Steven L. Harman, Scott D. and his wife, Roberta "Bo," and Douglas E. and his wife, Dorothy; two grandchildren, Kenneth Harman and Emily King; his mother, Mary Harman, Nampa; two sisters, Donna Farmer, in CA and Carol Cole and her husband Edwin, Boise; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie in 2004 and his father, Lyle.
     The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Nampa First. Congregational United Church of Christ, 55 S. Midland Blvd., Nampa, ID 83651.
