PIONEER WOMAN OF MIDDLETON DIED IN CALDWELL SUNDAY

Mrs. Josiah Cave Succumbs at Hospital - Was Passt Eighty Years of Age.

    Mrs. Josiah Cave, a pioneer woman of the Boise Valley, died at the local hospital Sunday morning. Mrs. Cave was past 80 years of age and had been unwell all winter. She was brought to the Caldwell hospital but recently in an effort to make her more comfortable.
    Mrs. Cave lived at Middleton for many years. Before that she had lived at Boise and Payette. Indeed she had lived in communities in this vicinity practically all her life. Deceased is survived by a brother who lives at Cortland, Cal., and a nephew who lives at Berkley, Cal.
   
The funeral was held Tuesday from the Odd Fellows hall. Interment was at the Middleton cemetery.
