Free Death Certificate Provided Upon Request

Last Thursday, August, 14, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marie Wagner of Notus, occurred the death of Mrs. Louise Specht.  The funeral was held at the home of Karl Boehringer of this city at 2 p. m. Saturday, Rev. Giffen officiating.  Interment was made in Fraternity cemetery.  The funeral was very largely attended, especially by the German residents of this section, whose good citizenship Rev. Giffen praised feelingly in his sermon.
Mrs. Specht was born February 18, 1836, at Illsfeld, Germany.  She was married in 1859, her husband dying in 1884.  Twenty-two years after his death Mrs. Specht came to the United States, and has made her residence in the Boise valley since that time.  She leaves five children to mourn her death, four of whom reside in Canyon county.  They are Mrs. Louise Bischoff of Emmett, Mrs. Marie Wagner of Notus, Mrs. Pauline Boehringer of Parma and Fred Specht of Notus.  One son, Karl Specht, still resides at Weinsberg, Germany. - Parma Herald.
