Information for Aldis Franklin Pillsbury
20 December 1847 - 7 March 1913
From The Caldwell Tribune
14 March 1913 - p. 8
Contributed by Dennis McIndoo

NOTE - There are mass errors on the obituary of
Aldis Pillsbury.  There is an obituary on 14 March 1913
that a 15 year old girl, Addie F. Pillsbury, died and was buried
in the Roswell Cemetery.  I could find no evidence that there
was a daughter named Addie born to David Franklin Pillsbury.
This includes looking for a Death Certificate, census, and
 a search on Ancestry.com.

There is a lot of evidence that the person mentioned is actually
Aldis Franklin Pillsbury who died on the same date mentioned
in the "Addie" Pillbury obituary that seems to be in error.  The
Idaho Death Certificate shows he was a son of David Franklin Pillsbury.
The obituary shown below was in the same newspaper two pages away on the
same date.  Even in this obituary it mentions an August Pillsbury,
which to add to the confusion, does sound like Aldis.  If anyone has further
evidence  to help with all this confusion please contact us.

Below is the obit that seems to be in error
