Alma C. Lentfer

     CALDWELL — Services for Mrs. Alma C. Lentfer, 83, of Homedale, who died Wednesday in a Caldwell hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Ben Walker. Interment will be in Wilder.
    Mrs. Lentfer was born June 28, 1883, in Hartenholm, Germany. She came to the United States at the age of 4 with her parents and moved to Fairmont, Neb. She was married to John Henry Lentfer Sept. 16, 1897, at Trenton, Neb. They lived in Nebraska until 1926 when they moved to Burr Oak, Kan, living there until the fall of 1934 where they moved to Homedale where she since resided.
    Mr. Lentfer died Jan. 16, 1959. A son preceded her in death in 1913. Surviving are two sons, Jack L, Lentfer, Homedale, and Neal Lentfer of Rufus, Ore.; five daughters, Mrs. Lulu Bloyd, Caldwell; Mrs. Susie McConnell and Miss Lillie Lentfer, both of Homedale; Mrs. Ellis Pettit of Burr Oak, Kan.; Mrs. Marie Niles, Gresham, Ore.; a sister, Miss Bertha Mohr of Asquith, Saskatchewan; three brothers, Carl Mohr of Cranbrook, British Columbia, and Rudy and Eddie, both of Asquith; 25 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
