Zelma L. Barker
CALDWELL: Services for Zelma Lois Barker, 92, of 620 Denver
Street, Caldwell, who died Friday at home will be conducted at
10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Calvary Temple, Caldwell, by the
Rev. E. Rohn. Interment will be in Wilder Cemetery, under the
direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
She was born Aug. 26, 1886, at Blandinsville, Ill, and married
Iver Shrader June 10, 1906. He died April 24, 1925. She moved
to Idaho and married Carr Barker. They lived in Apple Valley.
He died in 1945. She moved to Caldwell in 1953.
She was a member of the Calvary Temple and president of the
Temple Auxiliary.
Surviving are five
daughters, Elsie Graham of Midvale; Marie Schenck of Fort
Worth, Texas; Nellie Darden of Coos Bay, Ore.; Bernice Witt of
Oskaloosa, Iowa; and Vivian Wiggins of Chula Vista, Calif; two
sons, Charles Shrader of Spring Valley, Calif, and Bennie
Shrader of Caldwell; 25 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren,
and 28 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
a son, Clarence. |
