HOMEPAGE

THE DEATH OF
    MISS NETTIE ODOM

Saturday afternoon, August 15, all that was mortal of Miss Nettie Odom was interred in the Parma cemetery.  Rev. W. J. Boone and Rev. Mr. J. C. Smith of Caldwell conducted the services under the auspices of the Parma Rebekah Lodge.  There were present a great many of the friends of the bereaved family.
Miss Odom was born in the Dixie Valley, February 10, 1877.  She died Friday, August 14, 1903, after a lingering illness of six months, after everything known to medical science had been don to effect a cure.  A great part of her life was spent in Lower Boise and Parma where she had a host of friends.  About two years and a half ago, the family moved to Caldwell.  Here also her bright, sunny disposition, hopeful and cheerful demeanor, notwithstanding the great pain and suffering she experienced, won her many friends.  She was loved by all who knew her.  We extend condolence in behalf of the people of Caldwell and Parma.
