A very beautiful and appropriate funeral service for Martha Owens was held in the Greenleaf church at eleven o'clock Sunday morning.  Rev. Lindley A. Wells conducted the service, assisted by Mrs. L. Maria Dean.  The music was furnished by the junior girls, and Ezra Hinshaw and Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Haworth.  Six Academy girls dressed in white served as pallbearers.  The sermon was based on the text, "My Beloved has gone down into His garden to gather Lilies."  The deceased was a loving and lovable child, who had made her home for a number of years with her aunt., Mrs. F. D. Roberts, and her loss will be keenly felt by all her sorrowing relatives and friends.
