Herbert W. Morford

      CALDWELL--Services for Herbert W. Morford, 88, of 1504 Blaine Street, Caldwell, who died Saturday at a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel by Pastor Hugh Auw, of Grace Lutheran Church, Caldwell. Interment will be in Wilder Cemetery.
    He was born May 6, 1891, at Kingman County, Kansas. He moved with his family to Vici, Oklahoma where he was raised and educated. He married Fanny E. Lindsey June 10, 1909, in Lenora, Oklahoma. The moved to Wilder in 1913 and to Caldwell in 1961. Mrs. Morford died January 10, 1962.
    Surviving are four sons: George of Weiser, Frank of Lewiston, Robert and Phillip both of Caldwell; seven daughters: Lillian Gibbens of Caldwell, Bernice Loomis of Martinez, Calif., Mildred Wilmarth of Council, Wanda Kenagy of Paso Robles, Calif., Barbara Suiter of Renton, Wash., Marguerite Bates of West Yellowstone, Mont., and Geraldine Gammond of Pilot Rock, Oregon; two brothers, Fred of Meridian and Charlie of Boise. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Edwin, Jessy, Ray and Ralph, and two sisters, Seppie and Bessie.
    Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
