Wanita Sweet

     Wanita L. Sweet, 71, of Boise, passed on to a better life August 16, 1995, at a local hospital.  Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. today, August 21, 1995, at St. Mark's Catholic Church.  Burial followed at 12:30 p.m. at the Lower Boise Cemetery, near Parma.  Arrange-ments were under the direction of Summers Funeral Homes, Boise Chapel.
    Wanita was born to Irl H. and Beulah B. Bartlett on October 11, 1923, at Greencity, Missouri.  The Bartlett family moved to the Twin Falls area in 1937.  Wanita was educated in the area.  She married Jack M. Sweet on January 1, 1954 at Twin Falls.  Wanita was a very loving wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, and grandmother. "One of the best," her home, family and some fishing were the love of her life.  She made homes in Caldwell, Rigby, Idaho Falls, Boise, Silverton, Lewiston and Roberts, while Jack served with the Idaho State Police.  They moved back to Boise in September 1987.
    Wanita has been a member of St. Mary's Parish, the St. Anthony Mission Church at Roberts, and a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church at the time of her passing.
    She is survived by her husband, Jack of Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Richard D. (Annette) Petty of Boise; one granddaughter; two grandsons; three great-grandchildren; five sisters; four brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Irl and Beulah Bartlett; a son, James Martin Sweet; and two brothers.
    The family suggests contributions be made to your favorite charity.
