CALDWELL - Services for Sarah
Ellen Stattner, 72, 108 Sunnyside, Caldwell, who died Tuesday
at her home, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dakan
Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, with Ernest Nichols of Oregon City,
Ore., officiating. Interment will be at Knowlton Heights
Cemetery.
She was born March 17, 1904,
at Gate, Okla., and attended school at Rosston, Okla.
She married Jones Stattner Sr. on Dec 22, 1926, in Dodge City,
Kan. They lived in Oklahoma until moving to Idaho in
1943. She worked for J. R. Simplot Co. for a few years.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, Jones Stattner Jr.,
John Stattner, and James Stattner, all of Caldwell; two
daughters, Mary Ann Bow, Caldwell, and Nita Chrz, Homedale;
two sisters, Maude Bowers, Caldwell, and Cornelia Carpenter,
Homedale; four brothers, Floyd Eells, Oklahoma, Clyde and
Wilbur Eels, both of Homedale, and Jim Eels, Parma; 18
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandchild. |
