Sylvia Stark

      Services for Sylvia E. Stark, 79, Caldwell, who died Thursday at a Nampa hospital of natural causes will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell by Rev. R.E. Gillatt of the Marsing Assembly of God Church.  Interment will be at the Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
    She was born Dec. 26, 1905, in Mercer County, Mo., to Marcus and Deborah Foster.  She was reared and educated in Missouri, Nebraska and Colorado where her family homesteaded.
    She married William F. Stark, Aug. 2, 1922 in Colorado. They came to St. Maries in 1944 and to Caldwell in 1956 where she has since resided.
    She had been employed by St. Paul's Catholic Church and School in Nampa.  She attended the Marsing Assembly of God Church.
    She is survived by two sons, Olin Stark, Caldwell and Earl Stark, Springdale, Wash.; one sister, Veva Williams, Rocky Ford, Colo.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
    The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1386, Caldwell, 83606.
