Ralph Striker

     Ralph Striker, 79, of Parma, died Wednesday, January 20, 1993, at the Caldwell hospital of natural causes.  Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 22, 1993, at Lower Boise Cemetery, Parma.  Pastor David Shaskey of the Homedale Seventh-day Adventist Church will officiate.  Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Ralph was born May 20, 1913, at Blackfoot, Idaho, to Ralph and Orletta Striker, the fourth of six children.  He married Cora A. Howe, March 25, 1939, and they had two sons.
    Ralph lived and farmed most of his life in the Ten Davis community near Parma and raised Purcheron horses.  He was a noted leather craftsman and saddle-maker.
    Survivors include his wife, Cora of Parma; two sons and their wives, James and Marilyn Striker of Parma and Paul and Jerilyn Striker of Manns-Creek; three granddaughters and their husbands, Michelle and Muriel Stutheit, Shane and Susan Morrison and Brett and Kasandra Laird; and two great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Morrison and James Stutheit.
   His family suggests memorials be made to Mountain States Tumor Institute, 151 E. Bannock, Boise, Id. 83712.
