Earl Story

     Graveside funeral services for Earl Story, 80, Parma, who died Sunday in a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Roswell Cemetery by the Rev. Ray Wilson of Ontario, Ore., under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
    He was born Nov. 24, 1900, in Fender, Neb.  He worked as a ranch hand in South Dakota and Nebraska.  He married Cecil Ellen Robins on March 20, 1928, in Randolph, Neb.  He farmed in Nebraska and then in 1937 moved to Idaho and farmed in the Roswell community.  He retired from, farming in 1977.  He was a member of the Sterry Memorial Presbyterian Church in Roswell.  He served on the Roswell School Board, and was director of the Riverside Irrigation and Drainage District.  He also had served as a supervisor of the Canyon County Soil Conservation District.
    He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; a son, Virgil of Parma; a daughter, Laura Krause of Corvallis, Ore.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by a brother, a son and a grand-daughter.
