Cora A. Striker, 73, of Parma, died Monday, June 20, 1994, at
the Caldwell hospital of natural causes. Graveside
funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23,
1994, at the Lower Boise Cemetery near Parma. Pastor
David Shaskey of the Homedale Seventh-day Adventist Church
will officiate. Services are under the direction of
Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Cora
was born February 3, 1921, at Medical Springs, Oregon, to
Robert E. and Arvada Vonier Howe. She later moved to
Vale, Oregon, where she met and married Ralph Striker on March
25, 1939. Together they lived in the Ten Davis Community
for several years where they farmed and raised their boys.
They later moved to Parma in 1982 where they had since
resided. Ralph died January 20. 1993.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, James and Marilyn
Striker of Parma and Paul and Jerilyn Striker of Manns Creek;
three granddaughters and their husbands, Michelle and Muriel
Stutheit, Shane and Susan Morrison and Brett and Kasandra
Laird; and two great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Morrison and
James Stutheit. She is also survived by three brothers,
Paul and Lawrence Howe of Emmett and Oran Howe of Pasco, WA.;
and numerous nieces and nephews. In
