Brad Stewart

    Mass of the Christian Burial for Brad L. Stewart, 20, of Nampa, who died Tuesday, April 15, at a Chicago, Ill., hospital, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa.
    Father Merle J. Fisher, S.M., will be celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Services and interment are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    Mr. Stewart was born on March 31, 1966, in Nampa to Larry and Barbara Stewart.  He was reared and educated in Nampa, attending elementary school at Sunny Ridge and Central schools, and graduating from Nampa High School in 1984.
    He started snow skiing at the age of 4 1/2 and also played baseball, basketgball and football.  He had been on the swim team, wrestled, raced go-carts and bikes.
    At the age of 10 he stgarted setting water lines for Lonnie Steimpson and when he was 15, went to work for Cleo Miller on his farm.
    After graduating from high school he attended the University of Idaho in Moscow where he pledged the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and later transferred to Boise State University.  In December he went to work at the Little Kitchen in Nampa.
    He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
    He is survived by his parents, Larry and Barbara Stewart of Nampa; two brothers, Matt J. Stewart and Tony M. Stewart, both at home; one sister, Staci D. Stewart, at home; his paternal grandfather, Gilbert Stewart of Nampa; maternal grandparents Walter and Mable Duerock of Boise; great-grandmother, Ethel Duerock of Meridian; and a close friend, Amy Dossett of Nampa.
    He was preceded in death by is grandmother, Divina Stewart; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Navarro, and great-grandfather, Vince Duerock.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Caldwell Basque Club P.O. Box 399, Nampa, Idaho 83651; St. Paul's School, 1515 8th St. S., Nampa, 83651; the American Cancer Society, in care of Mrs. Bert Stone, 1643 Park Ave., Nampa, 83651; or flowers may be sent.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today until 9 p.m.
