Funeral services for Mr. Arnold "Slim" Supak, 66, of Nampa,
who died Wednesday, March 16, 1994, at his home, will be
conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 19945, at the Alsip
Funeral Chapel, Nampa. Father Paul Mathews, S.M., of the
St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa will officiate. Burial
will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
Slim was born on January 12, 1928, in Ellinger, Texas, to
Frank and Rose Supak. He was raised and educated in
Texas. He joined the U.S. Army in 1946 and served during
the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1947.
He moved to Nampa, Idaho, in 1952 and married Della Frances
Blaha in Nampa on June 28, 1952. They made their home in
Nampa where he worked as a butcher for Armour's Meat Packing
for 28 years. He is survived by his
wife, Della of Nampa; two daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine
and Robert Supak-Tipton and Barbara and Cecil Supak-Daniel,
all of Nampa; four grandchildren, Brian J. Tipton of Fort
Wainwright, Alaska, Kenya K. Daniel, Jamie J. Daniel and
Kimberly C. Tipton, all of Nampa; three brothers, John Supak
of Houston, TX., Lad Supak of Columbus, TX., and Jerry Supak
of Ellinger, TX. He was preceded in
death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today until 9
p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. |
