Ada Stephens

     Funeral services for Ada L. Conrad Stephens, 83, of Middle-ton, who died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1992, at a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1992, at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel. Caldwell. Rev. Dan St. Clair of Wilder will officiate. Interment will follow at Middleton Cemetery. Mrs. Stephens was born Aug. 125, 1909, at Matheson, Colorado, a daughter of George and Carrie Smith Cusic. She married George F. Sanders on Sept. 10, 1927, at Stone City, Colo.
    In March, 1934, they moved to Idaho and later homesteaded in the Black Canyon area.  They were later divorced.  She married John E. Conrad on April 17, 1954, in Caldwell and they farmed near Middleton.  Mr. Conrad died in 1972.  She married William D. Stephens on Feb. 5, 1975, in Caldwell, and he died in 1978.
    Mrs. Stephens is survived by a son, Alton Wayne Sanders of Middleton; two daughters, Katherine KarDova Shimmin of Caldwell and Vineta Eileene Thomsen of Silver Lake, WA.; a stepdaughter, Betty Churruca of Marsing; a brother, Eddie M. Cusic of Caldwell; two sisters, Cora Simmons of Othello, WA, and Della Kennel of Nampa; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a son, David.
    Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, Idaho Chapter, 1609 Abbs, Boise, ID 83705 or flowers may be sent.
    Friends may call today until 8 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
