Lonnie Smallwood

    Graveside services for Lonnie Neal Smallwood, 42, of Wilder Route 2, who died Friday, Sept. 18, at the Caldwell hospital of natural causes, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Wilder Cemetery.
    The Rev. Plais Johnson of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Wilder, will officiate, under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel of Caldwell.
    Mr. Smallwood was born May 16, 1945, in Douglas County, Missouri, to Hobart and Edna Carter Smallwood.  He moved to Wilder at the age of 2, where he had since resided.  He attended schools in Wilder and had worked for a local farmer since the age of 16.
    He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a CB radio operator with CB friends in many states.
    He is survived by his mother, Edna Smallwood of Wilder, three brothers, Enice Smallwood of Wilder, Howard Smallwood of Caldwell, and Farrell Smallwood of Notus; and three sisters, Zella Owen of Wilder, Loyce Butler of Wilder, and Joyce Shields of Rupert.
