     A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.. Sunday, May 4, 1997, at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale, for Jose Alfaro Soto, 26, of Homedale, who died Tuesday, April 22, 1997, from injuries received in an automobile accident near Lovelock. NV, and his 8 month old infant daughter, Lynn Ivy Soto, who died from injuries received in the same accident on Wednesday, April 23, 1997.  A Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m., Monday, May 5, 1997, at the St. Hubert's Catholic Church, Homedale.  Burial will follow at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder.
    Jose was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, on May 2, 1970, to Raul Alfaro Soto and Galdina Ramirez.  After coming to Idaho he worked for Circle J Trailer Manufacturing in Caldwell.  He was married to Maria Cortez in 1989.
    Jose was a devoted family man and had many friends.  He was loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed.
    He is survived by his wife, Maria; two sons, Jose and Omar Soto, a daughter, Maria Soto, all of Homedale; his father and mother, Raul and Galdina Soto of Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico; five brothers, Jose Luis Soto, Juan Soto, Joel Soto, Carlos Soto and Jesus Soto, five sisters; Norma Soto, Rita Soto, Marta Soto, Marcelina Soto and Rosa Soto, all of Mexico; many nieces and nephews.
    Lynn Ivy was born on August 14, 1996, at Caldwell, ID, and is survived by her mother, Maria; brothers, Jose and Omar Soto; sister, Maria Soto, all of Homedale; maternal grandparents, Raul Cortez and Patricia Milian, both of Homedale; paternal grandparents, Raul and Galdina Soto of Mexico; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
    Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
