Francis Smith

     Rosary for Francis C. Smith, 65, Nampa, who died Saturday, June 2, in a Nampa hospital, will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday in Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mt. Calvary Cemetery by the Rev. James L. Pratt, S.M. of St. Paul's Catholic Church.  Military rites will be conducted by Col. Stotsenburg, Post No. 3465, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Nampa.
    He was born May 17, 1919, in Mountain Home to Burton H. and Catherine Lenora Brady Smith, and was reared and educated in Mountain Home.
    He married Dorothy Irene Deymonaz in 1964 in Las Vegas, Nev.  He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and following his discharge had worked for many years in Idaho, Washington, and Nevada as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic.  Mrs. Smith died in 1 1977.  He retired 10 years ago in Las Vegas and moved to Nampa in 1978.
    He is survived by one son, Francis K.A. Smith, Las Vegas one sister, Betty S. Anderson, Nampa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
    Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Nampa from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Saturday and may meet at the cemetery for services.
