Frances Smalley

    Memorial services for Mrs. Frances A. Smalley, 88, of Nampa, formerly of Parma, who died Tuesday, February 23, 1993, at her home, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, February 26, 1993, at the Sunny Ridge Retirement Center.  Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at the Parma Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    Mrs. Frances A. Smalley was born May 24, 1904, in Moline, Illinois, to Robert A. and Sarah A. Weed.  She moved to the Parma area with her family at the age of 10 where she was reared and educated.  She attended the College of Idaho in Caldwell.  She married Waldo Smalley on August 18, 1924, in Parma.  Mr. Smalley preceded her in death in 1980.
    She is survived by a daughter, Eloise Daniels, of Glenwood, WA; a son, Robert Smalley of Hermiston, OR; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
    Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dean.
    Memorials may be made to the Sunny Ridge Retirement Center, 2609 Sunnybrook Dr., Nampa, ID 83686; or flowers may be sent.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. or on Friday from 8 to 11 a.m.
