Dale Slack

    Services for Dale J. Slack, 34, of Caldwell, who died Monday, Sept. 14, of injuries sustained in a traffic accident near Greenleaf, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Notus Church of the Nazarene.
    The Rev. David Porterfield of the Notus Church of the Nazarene will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Greenleaf Cemetery, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Mr. Slack was born Sept. 5, 1953, at Ogden, Utah.  He was reared and educated in Layton, Utah, and attended high school at Potlatch.  He graduated from high school in 1972.
    He attended the Ron Bailey Broadcast School in Spokane, Wash., for a year.  He moved to Moscow and worked at a Tri State Store for a short time before moving to Lewiston.  He worked at a hardware store in Lewiston for a year.  He began a photography business at Lewiston which he operated for several years.
    He married Deanna Cochran June 12, 1976, at Kamiah.  They lived in Lewiston until 1982, when they moved to Nampa.  They moved to the Greenleaf area in 1983.
    He had been employed at the Idaho State School and Hospital as a rehabilitation therapist since that time.
    He enjoyed working on computers and photography, fishing, playing the guitar, music and raising raspberries.
    He was a member of the Notus Church of the Nazarene, where he was a member of the board, church treasurer and a Sunday school teacher.
    He was also a member of a skill trade exchange group known as the Boise Users Group, a computer club in Boise.
    He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; a son, Christian Dale Slack of Caldwell; his father, Verdale Slack of Caldwell; his mother, Ruth Slack of Bellevue, Wash.; a sister, Diane Bowcutt of Moscow; a maternal grandmother, Vergie Roberts of Potlatch; and a niece and nephew.
    He was preceded in death by three grandparents.
    Memorials may be made to the Notus Church of the Nazarene, P.O. Box 205, Notus 83656.
    Friends may call at the Cald-well Flahiff chapel Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m.
