Zina Gubser

    Graveside servies (sic) for Zina Rae Gubser, 81, of Homedale, who died Monday, Oct. 12, at home of natural causes, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Greenleaf Cemetery, Greenleaf.
    The Rev. Lee Tiller of the Homedale Church of the Nazarene will officiate under the direction of the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
    Mrs. Gubser was born Oct. 10, 1906, at Caldwell to Logan E. and Alice McShane York.  She was reared and educated in the Dixie area.  
    She attended a nursing school in the late '20s in Utah, then worked as a nurse in the Stibnite, Yellow Pine and Cascade areas.
    She married Harlan Gubser at Dillon, Mont., in 1931.  She also worked as a nurse in the Hood River, Ore., area in the mid-1940s and later in White Salmon, Wash.  Later she moved to the Dixie area and from there to Caldwell and on to Emmett.  She moved to Greenleaf in 1980 and to Homedale in 1986.
    She enjoyed fishing, quilting and crocheting.
    She was a member of the Rebekkah Lodge, White Salmon Chapter.
    She is survived by a daughter, Fearn Gubser; two sisters, Attriss Ararnbura of Emmett and Phyllis Nissula of Cascade; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by three sisters, her husband and a daughter.
