Funeral
services for William "Jack" Gross, 82, Wilder Route 2, who
died Thursday, May 26, at a Caldwell hospital, will be
conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Wilder Methodist Church
by the Rev. Sue Nelson Caille. Interment will follow at the
Wilder Cemetery under the direction of the Flahiff Funeral
Chapel, Caldwell.
Mr. Gross was born Sept. 12, 1900 at Ironton, Mo., to
William and Lula Gross. He was reared and educated in Iron
County Mo., and married Thelma Folk on Dec. 22, 1927 at Broken
Bow, Neb. The couple lived in Nebraska and Colorado until
they moved to Wilder in 1941 where they have since farmed.
He was a former member of the Fargo Grange and the I.O.O.F.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, William of Laguna
Beach, Calif., Charles of Wilder, and Richard of Minden, Nev.;
seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Flahiff Chapel, Caldwell. Monday
between 1 and 8 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the Christian Children's Home'
in Boise or to the Greenleaf Friends Academy. |
