Wilma Fuqua

    Services for Wilma Fuqua, 71, Notus, who died Tuesday, July 26, in a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by the Rev. Sam Parvin of Wilder.
    Interment will follow at Lower Boise Cemetery near Parma.
    She was born April 23, 1912, at Milligan, Neb., to Anton and Agnes Simkovsky, and was reared and educated there.  She married Walter W. Fuqua on Aug. 8, 1930, at Billeville, Kan. They made their home at Steele City, Neb.
    In 1947, they moved to the Gooding area, and in 1949, to Parma.  She worked for Nielson Orchards with her husband for 13 years.  They-moved to Notus in 1961, where she worked for four and a half years carrying mail from the Notus Post Office to the train, and had also worked at McClure Bakery, J. R. Simplot, and Iseri Packing Shed, Notus.  Mr. Fuqua died in September of 1977, and she made her home in Notus until 1979 when she moved to Caldwell.
    She was a member of the Parma Senior Citizens.
    She is survived by two sons, Gene of Cascade and James of Billings, Mont.; seven daughters, Agnes Collins of Donley, Elsie Eskew and Sharlene Nickel, both of Caldwell, Marilyn Stevens of Parma, Carolyn Allison of Agra, Okla., Linda Fuqua of St. Louis, Mo., and Karen Browning of Notus; 18 grandchildren and three great.-grandsons.
    She was preceded in death by a half brother.
    Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell today until 8 p.m.
