Ruby Hartman

    Funeral services for Ruby G. Hartman, 79, Parma, who died Monday in a Caldwell nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Chruch, Parma, by the Rev. Paul Evans, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.  Interment will follow in Lower Boise Cemetery, Parma.
    She was born May 25, 1902, in Wayne, Neb.  She graduated from Lewiston Normal School and later taught school in Wilder.  She married Orville Hartman Sr. on May 25, 1923.  He died April 8, 1981.  She was a charter member of the Ten Davis Social Circle; a 4-H leader for 17 years; a member of the Canyon County Farm Bureau; Women's Auxiliary, Veterans of World War I; Ruby Rebekah Lodge No. 49; and Ladies Auxiliary Patriarch Militant; and was president of the Rebekah Assembly of Idaho in 1954.
    She is survived by a son, Orville Jr. of Parma; three daughters, Mrs. Lafe (Audrey) Allen of Fountain Valley, Calif., Mrs. Arlou (Wilma) Shiell of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Bruce (Marjorie) Pickett of Meridian; and 11 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son.
    Friends may call at the chapel today from 4 to 9 p.m.
    Memorials may be made to the Odd Fellows Home, Parma, or the Kirkpatrick Memorial Presbyterian Church, Parma.
