Richard D. "Dick" Huffer,
64, of Boise, died Friday, May 10, 1996, in a Boise hospital
of natural causes.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 10 a.m.
Monday, May 13, at the Parma Cemetery. The Rev. David Kegley
of Kirkpatrick Memorial Community Church, Parma, will
officiate. Services are under direction of the Dakan Funeral
Chapel, Caldwell.
Mr. Huffer was born Nov. 17, 1931, at Caldwell, to Carl
and Doris Fenrich Huffer. He was reared and educated in
Caldwell and Parma where he graduated from Parma High School
and later attended the College of Idaho. He moved to
Rochester, N.Y., where he learned carpet installation. He
came to Boise in the 1970s, where he had since resided and
worked for Pacific Upholstery for the past 20 years.
He married Marsha Link on July 18, 1993, at Boise.
Surviving are his wife, Marsha of Boise; His parents, Carl
and Doris Huffer of Caldwell: a brother, Ron Huffer and his
wife, Betty of Chelan, Wash.; a sister, Roberta Bittick and
her husband, Ken of Salmon, Idaho; four sons, all of
Rochester, N.Y.; one stepson: one stepdaughter; and three
grandsons.
His family suggests that memorial contributions be made to
Mountain States Tumor Institute, or to a favorite charity.
