Pearlene Foster

    Pearlene E. Foster, 58, of Caldwell, died Monday, June 16, 1997, at a Nampa hospital of natural causes.  Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 1997, at the Nampa Christian Faith Center, 817 C. Midland Blvd.  Pastor Bill Wolfe will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Lower Boise Cemetery near Parma.  Services are under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
    Pearlene E. Foster was born on August 9, 1938, in Caldwell, Idaho.  She was reared and educated in the Caldwell/Notus aria, graduating from Notus High school.  Pearlene moved to Reno, Nevada, where she met her husband, William M. Foster and they were married on Oct. 27, 1965, in Winnemucca, NV.  Following their marriage they made their home in San Jose, CA, where Pearlene worked in the electronic industry.  In 1989, they returned to Caldwell where they have since made their home.
    Pearlene was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend....someone who listened with her heart as well as well as her ears.  A child of God who walked through valleys and shouted from hill tops and never lost faith.  She was a member of the Nampa Christian Faith Center.
    Pearlene is survived by her husband, William M. Foster, Caldwell; her daughter and son-in-law, Christina and James Green, Caldwell; 4 stepchildren, Gladys Christensen, Elgin, OR, William David Foster, Canyon City, OR, Edward Foster, Nampa and Steve Foster, Vancouver, WA; 3 sisters, Lewgene Newell and her husband, Charles, Nampa, and Ila Fleming, Caldwell; a brother, Lynnard Bittick, Nampa; a granddaughter, Samantha Green, Caldwell (her grammy's, "ol Sugarness"); 8 stepgrandchildren and 5 stepgreat-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death  by her parents, Homer E. and Ella M. Bittick and a sister, Bonita Nysingh.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today from 2 to 8 p.m.  The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association of Idaho, 1111 S. Orchard, Boise, ID 83705, or flowers may be sent.
