Perry Kearn

    Services for Perry A.L. Kearn, 58, of Wilder, who died Saturday, April 13, in his home of natural causes, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Pastor John Sinclair of the First Christian Church, Caldwell, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Wilder Cemetery.  Mr. Kearn, owner of Kearn Tools, was born May 4, 1926, in Leadville, Colo., to Albert and Wilda Kearn.  He moved to Wilder from California in 1939 where he had since resided.
    He married Dorothy Young on Dec. 13, 1945, in Caldwell.  During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the battleship USS Mississippi in the South Pacific.  He worked for many years with Co-op Oil Associations, Inc.  At the time of his death he had his own business, Kearn Tools.
    He is survived by his wife of Wilder; two daughters, Tanya Hamilton of Caldwell and Rita Kearn of Sandpoint; his mother, Wilda Kearn of Wilder; four grandchildren, LaDessa and David Hamilton, both of Caldwell and Rayme and Jason Obendorf, both of Sandpoint; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
    His father and twin brothers preceded him in death.
    Memorials may be made to the Hospice at Mercy Medical Center, Nampa; to the Mountain States Tumor Institute, Boise; or to a favorite charity.
