Orville Willis Harrold, 79,
of Parma, died Friday, December 25, 1992, at a Homedale
nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, December 29, 1992, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
Burial will follow at the Roswell Cemetery.
Orville was born December 11, 1913, in Metz, Missouri, to
Willis J. Harrold and Lizzie Carlyle Harrold. He spent his
entire life in the Parma area with the exception of ten years
on the Oregon coast. He married Wyoma Sketlon, June 30, 1939,
at Boise, Idaho. Orville's life's work was farming and cattle
ranching. He received the "Idaho Century Farm Award" in 1990.
Orville enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He had been
a member of the Roswell Baptist Church for 43 years.
Survivors include his wife, Wyoma of Parma; a daughter and
son-in-law, Linda and Terry Krantz of Wilder, Idaho; a
daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Michael Anderson of Nyssa,
Oregon; a son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Jeanne Harrold of
Parma; three brothers, Everett, Woodrow and Dale Harrold all
of Parma; a sister, Viola Gordon of Boise; six grandchildren,
two great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother
and an infant grandson. |
