Mona Martin

    Graveside services for Mona I. Martin, 90, of Parma, who died Tuesday, May 10, 1994, at the Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, 1994, at the Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell, Idaho. Reverend Allen Nelson of the Deerflat Free Methodist Church, Caldwell, will officiate under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Mrs. Martin was born October 14, 1903, at Pilger, Nebraska. She was reared and educated in Pilger. On February 5, 1927, she married Claude Martin in Stanton, Nebraska. The couple moved to Caldwell in 1936 and to Parma in 1945, where she had since resided.
   Mona enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.
    Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and Merle Portenier of Notus; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clyde (sic) in 1981, and her brothers and sisters.
