Minnie Martin

   Funeral services for Minnie Martin, 78, of Parma who died Monday, July 11, at a Nampa hospital of natural causes will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma by the Rev. Paul Yadon of the United Pentecostal Church, Parma, officiating. Interment will follow at the Parma Cemetery.
    She was born December 23, 1904 at Phillips County, Kansas to Alvie and Kathryn Gipe. She was reared and educated in Nebraska. She married Lee Martin on August 24, 1921 at Phillipsburg, Kansas. They moved to Parma in 1936 where she had resided until the time of her death.
    She is survived by one daughter, Leota Cox; three sons, Floyd Martin, Forrest Martin all of Parma and Richard Martin of Caldwell; two brothers, Leonard Gipe of Broken Bow, Nebraska, Oscar Gipe of Chowchilla, California and two sisters, Eva and Gladys of Chowchilla California; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and three brothers.
    Friends may call at the chapel in Parma today between 6 to 8 p.m.
