Mary L. Franklin, 61, of Parma, went to be with the Lord
Monday, December 4, 1995, at a Caldwell hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 8,
1995, at the Parma Cemetery. Friends may call at Dakan
Funeral Chapel in Parma from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Thursday).
Mary was born May 5, 1934, in Hebron, Nebraska, to Leonard
and Louisa (Lydia) Fells. The family moved to California
in March of 1939. She married her childhood sweetheart,
Lon Franklin April 26, 1952. They came to Idaho July 1,
1967, where they raised five children. Mom's life was
her children. Each one of them had a special place in
her heart and she loved them all.
Surviving are Norma Fells of Modesto, California, Allen
Franklin of Boise, Colleen Perry of Parma, Charlotte Zesiger
of Nampa and Larry Franklin of Wilder. Grandchildren
were also a joy to her and she will be missed by April, Amy,
Amber, Michael, Charles, Brandi, Amanda, Virgil, Boe and Eric.
Mom was raised in a big family and those surviving siblings
will miss her are Lewey Fells of California, and Juanita
Cutter of Nebraska.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, one son, her
parents, two brothers, two sisters and 1 granddaughter.
