Marcy M. Harris

    Marcy M. Harris, 75, of Nampa, died Friday, January 17, 1997, at home.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
    Marcy was born on Oct. 3, 1992 (sic-1922), at Brocket, North Dakota, a daughter of Frank James and Clara Hejlik.  Her family moved to Nampa when she was 4 years old and they stayed at the Dewey Place.  Marcy received her education in Nampa.  She joined the Army Air Corp. during World War II as a dental technician.  After she was discharged from the army she went to beauty school, in Boise.  Marcy married Ed Harris on June 28, 1947, at Payette, Idaho.  They made their home in Emmett for a time, they also lived in The Dalles, Oregon and Boise, before making their home in Nampa, in the early 70's.
    Survivors include her husband, Ed Harris, of Nampa; two sons and their wives, Tim and Cindy Harris and Dennis and Joyce Harris, all of Boise; three grandchildren, Tim Jr., Amber, and Christy, all of Boise.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters.
    Friends and family may call on Monday, Jan. 20, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Persons- Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
