Murl E. Hodson

    GREENLEAF - Graveside services for Murl Ellen Hodson, 84, Greenleaf, who died at an Indian Valley nursing home, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Greenleaf Cemetery under direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel.  Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Greenleaf Friends Church by the Rev. Paul Goins.
    She was born Nov. 19, 1891, in Iola, Wis.  She married Ervin L. Hodson, June 21, 1917, in Newburg, Ore.  They lived there until the early 1930s, when they moved to Tillamook, Ore.
    In 1940, they moved to the Treasure Valley, where they farmed until 1958.  They moved to Silverton, Ore., for five years and later returned to Greenleaf.
    She was a member of the Greenleaf Friends Church.
    Surviving are a son, Ernest K., Los Alamos, N.M.; a daughter, Winona E. Selby, Caldwell; a sister, Zella Williams, Salem, Ore.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; Her husband died Jan. 14, 1969.
    Friends may call tonight at Dakan Funeral Chapel.  Memorials may be made to the Missionary Literature Fund, Friends Church.
