Margie Audrey Hausauer, 78,
of Payette, died Saturday, May 4, 1996, at home after a
courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be at 2
p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 1996, at the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints, Payette, with Bishop Curt Oxnam, Payette
First Ward conducting. Burial will follow at Wilder Cemetery,
Wilder, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel,
Payette.
Margie was born on August 16, 1917, at Eldora, Iowa, a
daughter of Ora D. and Maude L. Edick. She was raised In Iowa
and Minnesota. On April 7, 1935, she married her beloved
Wesley O. Hausauer in Narrows, Minnesota. In 1945 they moved
their family to Homedale, Idaho, where they resided until
1963. They then moved to Coos Bay, Oregon, where Wesley died
in 1977. In May of 1979 Margie moved to Payette with her
daughter and family.
Margie was an active member of the LDS Church, loving to
be in service to others. She also had many talents, however,
her greatest joy and love was being with her family.
Survivors include a-son and daughter-in-law, Wesley E.
"Jerry" and Kathy Hausauer of North Bend, Oregon; two
daughters, Alice Anderson of Payette and Ruth Renner of
Dallas, Oregon; a brother and sister-in-law, Ernest R. and
Wilma Edick of Homedale, Idaho; a sister, Leora L. Silva of
Las Vegas, Nevada; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband;
a sister, Donna M. Edick; a son, James L.; and a
great-grandson, Devin Rood.
Friends may call today from 3 to 7 p.m. at Shaffer-Jensen
Memory Chapel, Payette, and Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m. at the
LDS Church, Relief Society Room, Payette. |
