Lee Ford

    Graveside services for Lee R. Ford, 81, of Caldwell, who died Sunday, June 1, at a Caldwell nursing home, will be helda t 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Greenleaf Cemetery.
    Capt. Carl Blessing of the Caldwell Salvation Army church will officiate, under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
    Mr. Ford was born Jan. 3, 1905, in Payette.  He homesteaded with his parents at Wilder.  They later moved to Bruneau and then to the Arena Valley near Wilder.
    He came to Caldwell in 1938, where he worked for the J.R. Simplot C. for many years.
    He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
    He married Bessie Seiber June 18, 1954, in Winnemucca, Nev.
    He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; two stepdaughters, Flora Seiber and Pauline Welch of Caldwell; a stepson, Hershel Smallwood of Boise; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife, Oma E. Ford, in 1949; and two brothers.
    Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
    Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
