     John Reid Robinson, 65, of Nampa, died Thursday, November 4, 1993, at the Nampa hospital.  Vigil Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. today, November 7, 1993, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa, with Father Paul Mathews, S.M., of St. Paul's Catholic Church officiating.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday, November 8, 1993, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Nampa with Father Alfred Puccinelli and Father Paul Mathews, S.M., of the church as celebrants.  Interment will follow at the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
    John Reid Robinson was born April 17, 1928, at Caldwell, Idaho, to Reid and Margaret Robinson.  At a young age he moved to Payette with his family.  He graduated from Payette High School in 1946, and from the University of Idaho in Moscow in 1950.  After graduation he entered the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict.  He was honorably discharged and moved to Twin Falls where he worked for the Albert Dickinson Seed Company.  He married Frances "Fran" Thurman on September 10, 1966, in Twin Falls.  In 1972 they moved to Nampa.  John operated farms in the Marsing and Homedale areas until his retirement in 1990.  He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
    John is survived by his wife, Fran of Nampa; 3 sons, John Scott Robinson, Boise, Patrick Reid Robinson, Boise, and Anthony Kern Robinson, Moscow, Idaho; 1 daughter, Katie Robinson, at home; his mother, Margaret Robinson, Nampa; 3 brothers-in-law, Mike Walker, Nampa, Steve Thurman, Boise, and Doug Thurman, Grand View; 2 sisters-in-law, Judy Lawson, Boise, and Terri Bishop, Taylorsville, Utah; and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Reid, and 1 sister, Kathleen Walker.
    In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Paul's School, 1515 8th St. S., Nampa ID 83651.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
