Iva Johnson

    Iva "Peggy" Inez Johnson, loving wife and mother, went to be with her Lord, May 10, 1994.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, 1994, at the Parma Revival Center with Pastor Paul Nickens officiating.  Interment will follow at the Parma Cemetery, Parma.  Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
    She was born December 1, 1934, in Texas County, Missouri, the baby daughter of Haywood and Rosetta Collins.  After leaving Missouri, she settled with her family in Parma.  She married Howard Johnson, May 11, 1972.  She worked for the J.R. Simplot Co. for eighteen years and later worked for the J.C. Watson Co. in Parma for four years before retiring.
    She loved camping, fishing, flowers, riding her ATV and taking drives in the country.  She dearly loved her husband, children and her grandchildren.  She loved life and her white doves.
    She was a member of the Parma Revival Center Church in Parma.
    Surviving are her husband, Howard Johnson of Parma; six daughters, Brinda Pennington, Vickey and Mike Richard, Norma and Loren Upson, Bernida and Gerald Holmes, Kayla Johnson and Felicia Johnson, all of Parma; two brothers, Glen and Therman Collins of Missouri; three sisters, Irene McCall of Arizona and Imogene Roper and Ermalee Tooley of Missouri; her half brother, Lewis Collins and her half sisters, Vinnie Scott of Oregon, Doshie Morris of Missouri; ten grandchildren, Kenneth, Jeremy and Kendra Pennington, Christy, Ben and Rebecca Richard, Dusty Hale, Clinton Upson, Danee Pitts and Kody Holmes, all of Parma; and numerous nieces and nephews and Tracy Collins and Glen Collins Jr.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, a stepdaughter, Kathy Johnson, two brothers and two sisters.
