Funeral
services for Gloria Jean Gonzales, 42, of Nampa, who died
Sunday, June 12, 1994, at the Nampa hospital, will be
conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 1994, at the 11th Ward
Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1500 W.
Smith Ave., Nampa. Interment will follow at the Wilder
Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho.
Gloria was born September 11, 1951, at Covington,
Kentucky, the daughter of Carl W. and Flonnie Bertram. She was
reared and educated in Kentucky. On May 3, 1971, she married
Greg Gonzales at Ashville, North Carolina. The couple moved
to Idaho in 1976, living in Wilder before moving to their home
in Nampa. Gloria worked for the J. R. Simplot Co. as payroll
coordinator and was currently employed by the Idaho Commission
for the Blind as an account clerk.
Gloria enjoyed music, dancing, bowling and playing tennis.
She was a devoted wife, mother and friend, who will be greatly
missed by her family and co-workers.
She is survived by her husband, Greg of Nampa; two sons,
Phillip and his wife, Melissa and Greg Gonzales, all of Nampa;
a brother, Rod Bertram; a sister, Carleen Dawe; and
grandmother, Florence Binder, all of South Carolina; a
granddaughter, Alexis Dyanna Gonzales and several nieces and
nephews including a special niece Patty Bertram of Nampa.
She was preceded in death by her parents. |
