Gary Holton

Graveside, services for Gary M. Holton, 37, of Homedale, who died Sunday, July 1, 1990, at a Boise hospital of natural causes, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5, at the Greenleaf Cemetery.  The Rev. Kenneth Pitts will officiate under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.  Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Gary was born April 6, 1953, at Caldwell, a son of Virgil C. and Penny Stenvall Holton. He attended school in Middleton.  In 1982 he earned his GED and then attended Boise State University where he received a certificate in waste water management.  In 1977 Gary went to Alaska to log but instead spent three months camping and fishing.  Due to ill health Gary was unable to continue working. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, photography and, best of all, he enjoyed his dog.  Gary loved his family and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his parents of Homedale; a daughter, Michelle Holton in Oregon; two brothers, Clayton of Nampa and Steve of Homedale; a sister, Linda Winters of Homedale; three nieces; three nephews; four great-nephews; and two great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Holton.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
