Frank Guardiola

    Frank S. Guardiola, 46, of Nampa, died Sunday, March 10, 1991, at the Nampa hospital.  Vigil Services will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa, with Father Juan Carranco as celebrant.  Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
    Mr. Guardiola was born Aug. 21, 1944, at Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, to Adolfo and Teresa Guardiola.   He was reared and educated in Erie, Mich., and graduated from Mason High.  He later moved to Toledo, Ohio, where he was employed by Varta Industries for 15 years.  In 1972 he met Elma Stewart, and lived together for 14 years before moving to Nampa in 1985.  They had made their home in Nampa for the past six years.
    He is survived by his wife, Elma; three sons, Billy and Timmy Stewart and Nick Guardiola; three daughters, Dora Stewart, Nancy Reyna and Cindy Perez, all of Nampa; a brother, Ciro Guardiola of Ohio; four sisters, Molly Mendez of Dumis, Texas and Martha Vargas, Ofilia and Irma Guardiola, all of Toledo, Ohio; his mother, Teresa Guardiola; a brother-in-law and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Reynaldo Reyes of Nampa; and 14 grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his father.
    Frank will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
    Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today until 9 p.m., Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Vigil Services at 6:30 p.m.
