NAMPA - Funeral services for Freeman Lyle Kilmer,
78, 419-17th Ave. S., who died suddenly in Nampa Tuesday, will be
conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
The
Rev. Ralph Cornwell, of Boise, will officiate.
Interment will be in
the Wilder Cemetery.
Mr.
Kilmer was born Oct. 1,1892 in Jaynesville, Minn.
and was reared and attended schools there.
He was married to
Hazel Crowe Feb. 9, 1916 at Bemidji, Minn.
They came to Parma, Idaho
in 1917 where he was in the garage business for three years.
He later lived in
Wilder, from 1920 to 1922, where he was also in the garage
business. They came to Nampa in 1922 and he was employed with the
Lindsey Ford Garage, retiring in 1958.
He served as service
manager for many years. He
and Mrs. Kilmer celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary
Tuesday.
Mr. Kilmer is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel Kilmer,
Nampa; one son, Reid F. Hiller, Nampa; one daughter, Mrs.
Arthur (Glee) Chase, Idaho Falls; four brothers, George,
Frank, Dewey, and Albert Kilmer, all of Minnesota; one sister,
Mrs. Grace Poll, Minnesota; and by six grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be given to the
Heart Fnnd, the Idaho Youth Ranch, or flowers may be sent.
Honorary pallbearers will be O.D. Miller, Guy Fairbrother,
Carl Sparr, Fred Kurpjuweit, E.C. Moorehouse, and Elvin Van
Matre. Active bearers
will be Nig Eastman, Andy Myers, Richard Brown, Harold Miller,
Lyle Gunderson, and Elmer Robertson.
