Flora Gidley |
Graveside services for Flora E. Hull Gidley, 90, of
Greenleaf, who died Sunday, June 12, at a Nampa nursing home,
will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Greenleaf
Cemetery by Pastor Duane Comfort of the Metolius Friends
Church, Metolius, Ore., under the direction of Dakan Funeral
Chapel, Caldwell.
Memorial services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at
the Greenleaf Friends Church.
She was born Feb. 6, 1893, at Barclay, Kan. She was reared
and educated at Gate and Knowles, Okla. She married Mack Hull
on March 10, 1913, at Knowles, where they farmed until moving
to the Greenleaf area in 1917, where Mr. Hull was a farmer.
Mr. Hull died Feb. 15, 1943.
She later married Lindley Meyers on Nov. 27, 1943, at
Greenleaf. Mr. Myers died in 1960. She moved into the town of
Greenleaf where she later married Preston Gidley on Aug. 29,
1963. Mr. Gidley died in 1972. She was a member of the
Greenleaf Friends Church and the WCTU.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lola Remick of
Greenleaf; four sons, Kenneth Hull of Greenleaf, Calvin Hull
of Newberg, Ore., Hubert Hull of Ontario and Harlan Hull of
Gillette, Wyo.; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and
one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by
three brothers, three sisters and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the chapel from 5 to 9 tonight.
Memorials may be made to the Greenleaf Friends Church. |
