Graveside services for Floyd Fivecoat, 84, of 2609 Sunnybrook
Dr., Nampa, who died Tuesday, Jan. 4, of natural causes at a
Nampa hospital will be conducted at 11:45 a.m. Saturday under
the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, at the
Greenleaf Cemetery with memorial services at 12:30 p.m. at the
Greenleaf Friends Church, Greenleaf, by Pastor Paul Goins of
Greenleaf Friends Church, Pastor Homer Smuck of Nampa Friends
Church, and the Rev. Oscar Brown of Newberg, Ore.
He was born July 4, 1898, at Mallard, Iowa. He moved
with his family to Granada, Colo. at the age of 1, in 1899,
and then to Caldwell in 1907, where he was reared. He
attended schools in Caldwell and Greenleaf. He married
Eva Herlocker on Nov. 11, 1923, at Greenleaf. They
farmed near Greenleaf until retiring in 1972. After
retiring, they moved to Nampa where they had since resided.
He was asctive in Community Church and farming organizations
and activities. He was a member of Greenleaf Friends
Church in Greenleaf.
He is survived by his wife, Eva, of Nampa; three daughters,
Ethel Gossard of Council, Louise Ralphs of Fruitland, and
Arlene Brown of Aberdeen, Idaho; two brothers, Russell
Fivecoat of Caldwell and Louis Fivecoat of Riverbank, Calif.;
three sisters, Ruby Johnston of Caldwell, Elma Perisho of
Talent, Ore., and Grace Northrup of Tacoma, Wash.; 17
grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and four brothers.
Memorials may be made to Greenleaf Friends Church, Greenleaf.
Friends may call at the chapel Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. |
