NAMPA - Requiem Mass for Esther G. Gomez, 61, of 1909
Fourth St. N., who died Tuesday morning in a Nampa hospital,
will be celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Church at 10 a.m.
Friday by the Rev. Father Paul J. FIynn. The rosary will be
recited at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa, at 8 p.m.
Thursday. Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Gomez was born May 16, 1911 in McAllen, Tex., where
she was reared. She married Leon Gomez Aug 16, 1943 in Pharr,
Tex. and they came to Nampa in 1954. She was a member of St.
Paul's Catholic Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters,
Angie Perales of Fort Hood, Tex., and Alice Sosa of Nampa; a
son, Sixto Gomez of Seattle, three brothers, Trinidad Gonzales
of Sterling, Ill., Pedro Gonzales of Abernathy, Tex. and Steve
Gonzales of Nampa; two sisters, Mrs. Santos Flores of Pharr,
and Amada Amparan of Nampa; and one grandchild. She was
preceded in death by a son. |
