Eddy Heck

    Edward "Eddy" Heck, 55, of Nampa, died Monday, March 11, 1996, at a Nampa Care Center.  A Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 15, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Paul Mathews, presiding.  Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
    Eddy was born May 20, 1940, in Dickinson, No. Dakota, the son of Frank L. and Juliana Sticka Heck.  He was the oldest of twelve children and one of two sons that was born on the farm in North Dakota.  The family moved to Nampa in 1957, and he worked at farm related jobs.  Eddy moved Arco in 1966, where he was engaged in farming.  He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.  Eddy enjoyed camping, fishing and bowling.
    Survivors include six brothers, Cornelius Heck, Frederick G. Heck, both of Nampa, Francis Heck of Bellevue, Washington, Blaise Heck of Nyssa, Oregon, Kurt.Heck and Myron Heck, both of Nampa; three sisters, Mary Curtis of Yakima, Washington, July Mayes, of Nampa, and Grace Ivy of Burns, Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    We Love You, Eddy.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
    Friends may call today until 9 p.m. at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
