Graveside services for Elva May Graber, 83, Pocola, Oklahoma,
and formerly of Canyon County, who died Tuesday, Dec. 28,
1993, at the Fort Smith Hospital, Arkansas, will be conducted
at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 1994, at the Wilder Cemetery,
Wilder. Reverend Kenneth Watson of the Bible Missionary
Church, Homedale, will officiate under the direction of
Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
Mrs. Graber was born Nov. 28, 1910, at Coyville, Kansas, a
daughter of William Nelson and Amy Lewis Case. Elva married
Harold Graber on Jan. 3, 1932, and the couple lived in the
Fargo Community where they farmed until moving to Nampa. Mr.
Graber died in 1969. She moved to Arkansas to be with a
daughter in 1980. Elva had worked for the Idaho State School
and Hospital for twelve years.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law David and Pat
Graber of Kent, Washington; a daughter and son-in-law Ramona
and Bill Jones of Pocola, Oklahoma; a daughter Beth Spencer
and her best friend Harold Keeton of Homedale; a brother and
sister-in-law William "Bill" and Juanita Case of Kingsport,
Tennessee; two sisters, Myrtle Tracy of Caldwell and Violet
and her husband Ken James of Youngstown, Arizona; ten
grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces
and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold; a sister
Vida Alice Case, a daughter Sharon May Graber and
granddaughter Golda May Spencer.
Friends may call today from 1 until 5 p.m. at the Flahiff
Funeral Chapel, Homedale. |
